Conheço uma Menina que é defensora de todas as flores.
E por um motivo específico não gosta de floristas,
Porque ela acredita que a beleza das flores
devem ficar nos jardins.
Ela sabe que quando as flores são arrancadas do chão,
suas vidas estão com as horas contadas.
Pelo seu amor as flores,
ela convenceu a todas as meninas do mundo
a não aceitar mais flores como presentes.
A não ser que estas viessem em vasos,
para que pudessem ser plantadas em jardins.
Poder-se-ia aceitar, também convites
para passear em jardins.
Desde, então, nenhum menino mais
ousa dar flores de presente.
