Chegou à noite
Crianças brincam na rua.
Fazem gritaria.
Brincam de esconde-esconde.
Entram em lugares proibidos.
Batem um correm e correm.
Riscam amarelinhas com cacos de tijolos.
Mesmo no escuro jogam bola.
Brincam de roda.
Algumas ousadas brincam de salada mista.
Batem corda. Pulam foguinho.
De repente uma mãe grita um nome:
-Heloiiiisa!
As mães das outras crianças
Gritam seus filhos, também.
Cada uma vai para sua casa
Tomar banho, jantar e dormir.
Enquanto dormem inocentes.
Mal sabem que quando raiar o dia,
Descobrirão que anos se passaram
E todas viram adultas.
